Flexible magnification in Electronics

With more than 20 ZAPs, MSL Circuits can perform multiple jobs accurately, efficiently and ergonomically.

a digital solution

It's not just magnification

At first, it was the need for higher magnification levels that led MSL Circuits to TAGARNO. But soon, they discovered the many benefits of the TAGARNO ZAP.

Before switching to digital microscopes, MSL Circuits, one of Europe’s leading subcontractors for the automotive industry, used magnifying lamps. But the need for higher magnification levels and a more comfortable setup for operators led the company to TAGARNO.

Among different options, the vast majority of the employees voted for the TAGARNO solution because of its user friendliness.

Today, MSL CIRCUITS has more than 20 microscopes installed at their facilities.

Here’s how they’re being used:
- Manual inspection of AOI rejects
and component alignment
- Polarity inspection
- QFP inspection by changing the
camera angle

An added bonus from going digital is the improved ergonomics that increased the work force efficiency.

Benefits and features

Besides providing insufficient magnification levels, the previous equipment used at the facility caused bad working positions as staff had to bend over the coveyer to inspect the boards.

Today, all workstations with TAGARNO ZAPs are designed to comply with ergonomic rules and principles for optimal comfort between workers and machines and to actively help prevent MSDs (Musculoskeletal disorders).
