In order for Tagarno A/S (“TAGARNO”) to contact you and deliver services to you, there are important personal information, which TAGARNO need to collect and handle.
It is important to TAGARNO that your personal information is kept and handled safely and legally. Therefore we have developed this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy TAGARNO A/S”) describing how we collect and handle your personal information.

We encourage you to read our Privacy Policy thoroughly, and you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy when you are completing our contact formular on the website and when you enter an agreement with TAGARNO regarding purchasing our products.

“You” refers to the person contacting TAGARNO by filling the contact formular on the website or by writing an e-mail to TAGARNO and the person entering an agreement with TAGARNO regarding purchasing our products.

3. Registration of information

3.1. Contact information and sign up for newsletters

When completing the contact formular on the website and when signing up for our newsletter service, the following contact information is registered on you, which is personal data:

  • Name
  • E-mail adress
  • Phone number

If you are contacting us per e-mail instead of using the contact formular, we ask you to provide the same contact information in the e-mail.

We encourage you to make sure that all registered information is correct and to update when necessary. By contacting us, you can get your contact information updated. If it comes to TAGARNO’s attention that the information is wrong or misleading, TAGARNO is entitled and obligated to correct or delete the information, so that handling is happening on a correct basis.

3.2 Customer information

If you purchase our products, you will be registered in our system as a customer. We register the following general information about you when you become a customer with us:

  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Delivery and billing address.

We use Visma and Expert room that is hosted on Microsoft Azure for our customer administration. Visma is installed on our server. Expert room data is stored on Microsoft Azure. The database secure customer data by providing auditing and thread detection capabilities.

4. Use of information

4.1. General

For you to contact us, receive newsletters from us and purchase our products, it is necessary that your information is registered and handled by TAGARNO and that certain information is shared with TAGARNO’s partners, e.g. the shipping companies we are collaborating with for delivery of goods.

Without this information and ability to handle and exchange said information, TAGARNO will not be able to handle and manage your inquiry.

4.2. Use of contact information and customer information

When we are receive your enquiry through the website contact formular, via e-mail or by you signing up to our newsletter, we are registering a range of information about you as described in section 3.1. The information is used to answer your enquiry and send you newsletters.

When purchasing our products, we also register a range of information about you according to section 3.2 and these details are used to fulfill the purchase agreement, including the delivery of your order.

The information registered according to section 3.1 and 3.2 are also used to create statistics and market analyses in order to optimize our company, including our business strategy and products.

For legal reasons TAGARNO is exchanging certain personal details with the following permanent partners: MailChimp, which is the newsletter service which TAGARNO uses. We have made a data processing agreement with MailChimp.

TAGARNO is allowed to share the information which does not identify individuals to the public and partners. TAGARNO is for example allowed to share information to the public to show general tendencies about TAGARNO’s customers’ use of and demand for the products which TAGARNO produces.

You are entitled to contact TAGARNO at any time to find out what personal information about you is being processed, like you are entitled to access the information in question. You are furthermore entitled to get inaccurate information about yourself corrected by TAGARNO without unnecessary delay.

Financial information (invoices, account numbers ect.) are kept in minimum 5 years, according to the Law of Accounting.

TAGARNO are allowed to dismiss requests of unserious, including spiteful character and dismiss requests, if TAGARNO for legal reasons is justified or obliged to do so.

The IT solutions used by TAGARNO to handle personal information are developed to have a high level of security, focusing on the protection of data. TAGARNO ensures that the necessary technical and organisational precautions are established, so that no personal information is accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost or deteriorated and that it is not exposed for unauthorized disclosure, misusage or in any way handled in violation of the law on the processing of personal data. Finally, the access to data is handled from a necessity principle. This means that only specially trusted persons have access to data. This applies to both TAGARNO as well as partners and TAGARNO’s data processors.

You have the option to file a complaint regarding collecting and handling personal data contacting TAGARNO A/S through e-mail: [email protected]. You also have the option to bring the complaint to the Data Protection Agency in Denmark.

12. TAGARNOs use of cookies and processing of personal data with subscription customers

We use data from own and third party cookies. We use it in combination with associated personal information to remember your settings, improve our services, to track your use of the website and microscope and to perform traffick tracking plus show you the most relevant messages (including profiling).
