Inspect bare boards and components before assembly with a digital microscope for electronics
Before assembly, inspect the bare boards and components with a digital microscope for soldering and PCB inspections.
You wouldn’t cook with meat or vegetables that have gone off. Why would you use defective bare boards, QFPs and connectors? Make sure to inspect them with a digital microscope before assembly.
With high quality cameras, it’s easy to see any problems with the parts once placed underneath the camera microscope. If something is not right, use the documentation microscope to take a photo or call a colleague over for a second opinion. With everything being displayed on a monitor, it’s easy to detect any issues and pass the information on to those who need it.
You can even use microscope software apps like Measurement to verify component size and shape.
